Tennessee: Firearms Are Not Permitted On The Premises Sign
State specific sign informs individuals of Tennessee's concealed weapons regulations.
Mandatory Change: Effective July 1, 2016, Tennessee businesses wishing to prohibit firearms must display a sign containing:
- The phrase “No Firearms Allowed”
- A reference to T.C.A. §39-17-1359
- The no firearms symbol.
Businesses that used “No Firearms” signs before January 1, 2015, have until January 1, 2018, to replace existing signs.
- Meets or exceeds the minimum font and symbol size requirements
- Provides critical information on concealed weapons
- Rounded corners for easy handling
- Stock signs in rigid materials (aluminum, plastic, laminated plastic) have 4 drill holes in each corner. Stock signs in flexible materials (vinyl adhesive, laminated vinyl adhesive) have no drill holes.
