Integrated Auxiliary Cameras

Integrated Auxiliary Cameras

Get a more comprehensive view of activity within and around your vehicles.

Dig into the details with our lineup of dash cam-integrated auxiliary cameras. They add context to your primary dash cam footage by securing additional views and angles of the vehicle and surroundings during a triggered event. Auxiliary cameras can be added to cargo and cab areas, passenger compartments, and externally mounted on the rear and side of the vehicle.

Auxiliary cameras can help you build your defense in case of an accident. First, camera video footage is continuously recorded (when the engine is on) to the primary in-cab dash camera SD card. Then, in an accident or risky event trigger (fatigued driving, harsh braking, collision, etc.), auxiliary camera video footage is saved and sent to the back-office system, giving you a more comprehensive view of an incident.

Auxiliary cameras require the J. J. Keller® Road Cam or the J. J. Keller® Road & Driver Cam. They integrate with the VideoProtects® Fleet Camera System (on its own or paired with Encompass or Geotab fleet management systems).

The J. J. Keller® Internal Cargo Cam with a 6-pin connector provides a third video channel to capture supporting footage of vehicle, motorcoach, and trailer interiors. When an event is triggered by the primary dash cam, video from the Interior Cargo/Utility Camera is shared with the back office for a more comprehensive view of accidents or incidents.

Side Camera Kit

J. J. Keller® Side Camera Kit

The side dash cameras capture clear, crisp video footage of the sides of your vehicles. They continuously record video of the sides of the vehicle (engine on) — ensuring you have all event details. These rugged exterior-grade cameras are IP67 waterproof and IK08 impact-rated and are built to endure rugged environments, high temperatures, and pressure washings. They can be mounted on round or square stock side-view mirrors. Other vehicle mount options are available.
