- Covers these employment posting requirements for Santa Monica:
- Minimum Wage, Santa Monica Minimum Wage Ordinance, Municipal Code Chapter 4.62 – Requires employers to provide an employee a wage of no less than the hourly rates set under the ordinance. If service charges or hotel wages apply to the business, the employer must post the service charge or hotel posting.
- Paid Sick Leave, Paid Sick leave provisions in Municipal Code Section 4.62.025 – An Employee shall accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. For Employers with 26 or more Employees, the Employer shall provide at least 72 hours of accrued paid sick leave. For Employers with 25 or fewer Employees, the Employer shall provide at least 40 hours of accrued paid sick leave.
- Service Charge Law, Section 4.62.040 – Requires that employers who collect service charges from customers must pay the entirety of those charges to the workers who performed those services for which the charge was collected.
- Must be posted in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works.
